Amsterdam

"I still want to live in Amsterdam!" Sampea cried. Ever since we watched 'Passport To Euroupe', we have been asking Mummy and Daddy if we can go to Amsterdam. There's a houseboat, a field full of tulips and a kind of common food you just have to try when you're there. It's a raw fish and you eat it like a penguin, holding the fish above your mouth and gulp it down. But it's raw and I so don't want to eat it!

If I live in Amsterdam.... I will walk in a glorious field of tulips and go cycling seeing the sights. My little sisters also want to live in a houseboat. The interesting things about Amsterdam is the houseboats and the food. My dreamland is Amsterdam!

My Injured Foot

"Ouch! You stepped on my poor foot Sam!" I have limping since Sunday afternoon. When I was in Taekwondo class a girl stepped on my foot and it was so very painful I could not walk properly. At first it was just a bruise, but as the days went by, it became swollen and my fourth toe was blue and purple.

Mummy and I went to the doctor to see if my foot was fractured. "I don't know if it is fractured, you need an x-ray to see," the doctor explained. "I will make an appointment tomorrow at East-shore hospital." The doctor bandaged my foot for protection until I got the x-ray results.

Yesterday, I went to the hospital for the x-ray. We had to wait for an hour to get the results. Luckily, my foot was not fractured. I was relieved! But I still cannot run, skip and go for Taekwondo until my foot is well.

Tkd Australia Trip

I had to win the gold. I promised my Kong Kong that I would win the gold for him. I was taking part in the Western Australia Open Championships held in Perth. This was my first time going to Australia by myself and I was so excited!

On the day of the competition I was extremely nervous because Australia people are tall and I am short. But I kept telling myself to be confident. If you were not confident, you would not be able to fight well. When it was my turn, I walked up to the court and saw my opponent. She was the same height as me so I thought to myself maybe I have a good chance of winning. Just before the fight, Mr Rivas told me what to do, how to win points and how to confuse the opponent. I won the first round. I told myself I could do it, I could win! During half-time, Mr Rivas told me I was doing well and told me to do double turning kicks to get more points. In the second round, I saw that my opponent kept looking at the score board so when I had the chance, I swung my leg and kicked her and scored many points. The score at the end was 7-2 and I was the champion!

I felt very happy with myself because this was my first overseas competition and I won! The lesson that I learnt is to be confident about yourself and don’t be nervous.

I kept my promise to my Kong Kong. This morning, I showed him my gold trophy through Skype. He was in a hospital in Thailand lying on a bed. He did not smile or say anything because he was in a semi-coma. But I know deep down in his heart he is very proud of me.

My Soft Toy

This is my soft toy "Taffi". I had her since I was 10.

Mummy bought it for me. She was my replacement for my welcome to the world toy called Toffi. I lost Toffi that is why I have a replacement. He was a bear and Taffi too. They are small, cute and cuddly.

I still have some baby clothes so I use them on Taffi. I treat Taffi like my baby. I even made a bag for her.I sleep with her every night. I make different types of clothes for her. She likes to wear her jumper because it is comfortable.

I make up her age and when her birthday is. She is 19 months old and her birthday is on 4th october 2008. She stills crawls like a baby. She likes to play computer games. She likes to sleep too. I love her super duper alot. And that is my soft toy.

Super Camp

Ready for some Camping?  Well follow me, I will show you how to camp.   

Me, my sisters, cousin and Emy went camping.  We found a spot to set up the camp.  It was very hot so we brought some umbrellas.

My friend collected some limes to use as juice, my sisters and cousin collected leaves, flowers and sticks for food in the camp.  I made the food, there were different kinds of food I made.  There was seaweed, roasted flowers, orange shish kebab. We used leaves as plates to hold the food.  I took a long time to make the food.

There was a bush that holds limes but all the leaves and lime were gone, so we called it the autumn tree, that's where we plucked the sticks. There was a stove we made out of stones and a bit of water used for cooking and roasting the food.  There was a table for us to eat at.  It was very windy too.

Then we wanted to go home. So we packed the things up and went home.  And that's how you do camping.
